Twelve years after their last album, the mythical band of the 90s is back with a new opus, Push and Shove. Glamor took advantage of their visit to Paris during their private concert to meet Gwen Stefani and her acolytes.

Though the California quartet have been out of the limelight for more than ten years, they’ve been busy. No Doubt, the next generation, comprises eight children under the age of ten.

No Doubt's Push and Shove hit stores Tuesday (September 25), and in the lead-up to its release, we've been bringing you the behind-the-scenes stories of making the album, revealing the inspiration for the album's title and explaining how brand-new single "Looking Hot" was "almost thrown away."

Band members Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young spoke with Complex and revisited a number of hits from all of their albums, starting with 1992 debut, No Doubt. We eventually got around to discussing Push and Shove, too.

It's been 11 years since their last album, but not much has changed.

No Doubt weren't particularly concerned about staying current with "Settle Down," the lead single off their first album in 11 years, Push and Shove. 

The biggest band to ever come out of Orange County have come to terms with juggling parenthood with their music careers, their OC roots and international fame, Gwen's solo career, and the realization that No Doubt have been together for 26 fucking years.

To almost any other act, an 11-year gap between albums would constitute several lifetimes outside the fast-churn world of pop music. But No Doubt has remained resilient.

If anyone can 'Push and Shove' back to the top after 11 years, it's No Doubt.
